Nollywood Loses Comedic Actor, Mr Ibu

The Nollywood comedic actor, Mr Ibu, whose real name was John Okafor, has reportedly died of a cardiac arrest on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Evercare hospital, Lekki.

The actor whose health took a downward dive in 2023, leading to a double amputation of his leg, died aged 62.
 
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Mr. Emeka Rollas, is said to have confirmed the report of his demise.

Tributes have started pouring in from fans and fellow actors.
