Kelvin Uwaibi To Receive NUJ Award

Edo State Information Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has nominated Mr. Kelvin Uwaibi, Managing Director, Edo State Investment Promotion Office (ESIPO) for an Award of Excellence.

The Chapel which made its reasons   known for nominating the recipient for the award through a letter dated March 6, 2024, and signed by Chapel Chairman Comrade Nekpen Maureen Nwine, said the award is based on the unwavering commitment of Mr. Kelvin Uwaibi towards Edo State's economic growth; a move which has helped to highlight the crucial role of collaboration between public and private sectors to fostering regional development and prosperity.

The Information Chapel praised Uwaibi for his significant contributions in making Edo State an attractive destination for investment.

The prestigious award will be conferred on him during the Annual NUJ  Forum, with the  theme, "Transparency and Accountability: Building Blocks for Economic Prosperity." The event holds June 20, 2024.

Uwaibi's efforts were appreciated by the NUJ executives and its members. They unanimously acknowledged the improved business environment in the state since ESIPO's inception. 

Comrade Nwine specifically commended Uwaibi's role as the founding managing director in driving this positive change.
