BBNAIJA’S Rico Swavey Is Dead

Nigerian Lawyer and ex-BBnaija Season 3 housemate, Patrick Fakoya, who went by the nickname  Rico Swavey, died this morning after being placed on life support due to his involvement in an auto crash on October 11, 2022.

News of his involvement in a road traffic crash was made public on Tuesday by his fellow Big Brother Naija season 3 ex-housemate, Alex Asogwa nicknamed Alex Unusual via her Twitter page, where she revealed that the accident happened “hours ago” and Rico Swavey was still being revived when she left the hospital.

His management tweeted on Wednesday October 12, 2022, that he was on life support and his condition critical: “Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support. While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers.”
 
This morning, co-housemate, Tobi Bakre took to social media to announce his demise: “We lost him. But thanks a lot guys. God knows best.” 

While in the Big Brother Naija House he advocated for a better support system for those living with down syndrome.
