INEC activates online voters register

For ease of the electoral system, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has activated an online preliminary register of voters to cut down queues, associated stress which make for better time management of registered voters.

The portal which can be activated  by logging on to- "https://www.inecnigeria.org/display_register/" directs you on the registration process and how to view the voters register of your state, local government area, registration area and polling unit from November 12 - 25, 2022.

It states, "From this portal you can make claims and raise objections. During this display period, any person may make a claim that the name of a registered voter has been omitted, make corrections on his/her personal details on the register, raise an objection against the inclusion of any person not qualified to vote or the name of a dead person on the register."
