Oshiomhole Recieves Edo North APC Senatorial Flag ...Tackles Atiku, PDP
Former Governor of Edo State and erstwhile National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC,) Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has been presented with the APC flag yo symbolically present him to the world and political aficionados as the party's anointed candidate for Edo North senatorial seat contest in 2023 general election.
The presentation of the party flag was the highlight of Edo north APC Presidential/Senatorial flag off ceremony which took place in Auchi, headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Area in Edo North.
Performing the presentation, Edo State APC Party Chairman, Colonel David Imuse (Rtd), also presented flags to other APC candidates of Edo North extraction which include the three House of Representative members, namely, Hon. Sunday Dekeri, Prof Julius Ihonvere, and Mr. Peter Akpatason from Etsako, Owan and Akoko Edo Federal Constituency respectively.
He also presented flags to the eight (8) House of Assembly candidates across Edo North. He encouraged Edo North electorates to vote for all APC candidates from presidency to the state house of assembly.
in his remarks, Edo North Senatorial Candidate, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole assured his people of adequate representation, noting that the senate would afford him a better platform to crusade for people focused policies.
He enjoined electorates in Edo North to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President as well as the other party candidates.
Giving a jibe, he described the PDP Presidential candidate , Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as an ethnic bigot. Making reference to a statement credited to Atiku in Kaduna State where he was quoted to have told northern people not to vote for Igbo and Yoruba persons, Oshiomhole said such statements were unbecoming, un- presidential of anyone who conceived the idea of leading Nigeria.
